The MiniDisc format was developed and launched by Sony in 1992 and the blank discs were produced by other major manufacturers such as Maxell, JVC, TDK, Memorex and Sharp. They were available in 74 minute and 80 minute lengths and there is a wide range of colours and styling available - we have pictures of both the front and backs of most of the discs as well as the packaging if you go into a product. The Sony MDW80T produced for the Japanese market only was the last manufactured MiniDisc ending production and sales in January 2025, so MiniDiscs are no longer being made and stocks are reducing all the time. All of these discs are brand new and in their original packaging and wraps.
