Nearly all of these branded tapes from leading names such as Sony, Memorex, TDK, Maxell, Fuji and That's were made in the '80s or '90s and went out of production quite a long time ago. They are therefore becoming quite rare, particularly unused in their original outer wraps.
The quality of some of these chrome and metal tape reels is far superior to any of the unbranded cassettes available today, so if you really are looking for some of the best recording quality then the chrome and metal tapes may be well worth a try. All of these tapes are brand new and in their original packaging and wraps.
The pricing does not necessarily reflect the original retail prices of the tapes in relation to each other, but is more dependent on the current scarcity of original wrapped examples.
